Can Teams use 4K webcam?
Teams and Zoom will not show 4K video even if you have a 4K capable camera. The bandwidth required is just too high to support even 1080p video for regular meetings, never mind higher resolution.

The resolution on a 4K webcam is 3840x2160. That means there are 3840 horizontal pixels in each image and 2160 pixels that run vertically.
4K Webcams and the Bandwidth Issue
As James told me in our meeting, one of the biggest problems in actually using a 4K webcam is the bandwidth demand. 4K cameras can use about 23-35MB of bandwidth. That's more than I get at home – and I have to share my internet with the rest of the family!
Good, but there are better for the price.
The Logitech 4K Pro is a pretty good package. It has the high definition image and decent sound capture that makes for a good webcam. The light compensation was not as good as other less expensive webcams. It didn't have as wide a field of view as others.

What resolution webcam should I buy?
While a 720p webcam will do for livestreaming on a budget, you should look for models capable of 1080p or 4K resolution for professional-quality videos. Note that live broadcasts with higher resolutions require more bandwidth to stream, so you might want to invest in a dual-band router to avoid data delays.
Within a home or somewhere at a shorter distance, 1080p can depict faces. Secondly, 4K captures so much more detail and information than 1080p. This detail can easily be seen in the storage sizes of the videos. Five 4K cameras will require a much higher amount of storage than five 1080p cameras.

Videos in 4K Ultra HD resolution contain 4 times as many pixels as Full HD recordings. The advantages is that your videos are more detailed. If you like to make creative recordings, you'll have more freedom when you edit 4K footage compared to Full HD footage.
Full HD is just another term for 1080p or 1920x1080, and those are all ways of referring to the same resolution. By contrast, 4K has a resolution of 3840x2160. That's a lot more pixels in the overall image — totaling over 8 million pixels. As always, the higher the resolution, the sharper the picture will be.
The Brio 4K webcam is one of the most popular models on the market thanks to its impressive 4K resolution and Logitech webcam smarts. 4K is useful if you want to zoom in to your face or a physical object without losing the detail as much as a typical 1080p model.
The zoomed image of 5MP and 4K is clear and detailed, yet the 4k allows to see even more details given its deeper zoom. When it comes to resolution, 4K camera covers a 1.5 larger area than the 5MP one. Let's dive in: 4K Ultra HD security cameras possess a high resolution of 3840*2160 with over 8 million pixels.
A 4K security camera has an 8MP image sensor that is double that of 2K 4MP, allowing video capture that is twice the resolution. With the increase in video resolution it produces a video that is 3840x2160 pixels that is also a substantial improvement over 1920x1080 pixels provided by 1080P.
Video Resolution
First and foremost, the clarity of the video a webcam captures matters most, which we can judge from its resolution and frame rate. Clearer images have a higher resolution, and a higher frame rate means that movements appear smoother on the screen.
Streaming better quality video requires much higher broadband speed. In order to stream 1080p or 720p, you will need a bandwidth of at least 5 Mbps. But the best speed for seamless 4K streaming is set at least 25 Mbps.
You Need More Speed when Viewing More Cameras or Viewing In Higher Resolution. For best performance using H. 265 encoding, you should have 2 Mbps upload for each 1080P 30 FPS camera or 4 Mbps for each 4K 20 FPS Camera Main Stream.
Is 2K webcam better than 1080p?
The 1080p resolution, known as Full HD, is 1920 pixels horizontally and 1080 pixels vertically; on the other hand, the 2K resolution, known as Quad HD, is 2560 pixels horizontally and 1440 pixels vertically. Devices with higher pixels generally provide clearer video recordings and higher quality images.
The Logitech Streamcam is definitively better than the Logitech C922 in terms of image quality and microphone audio. It's a bit sharper, has less grain, and has better colors. It's also smoother at 1080p since it can do 1080p 60 FPS, while the C922 can only do 1080p 30 FPS or 720p 60 FPS.
The Logitech C922's maximum resolution and frame rate is 1080p, 30 FPS. It cannot do 4K like the Brio, nor can it do 1080p at 60 FPS. The C922 can do 720p 60 FPS.
